Asian Civilisation Museum
Background
The Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) is the first museum in the region to present a broad yet integrated perspective of pan-Asian cultures and civilisations. As one of the National Museums of Singapore under the National Heritage Board, they seek to promote a better appreciation of the rich cultures that make up Singapore's multi-ethnic society.
Wiz Werx was engaged by the Asian Civilisation Museum (ACM) to perform a complete makeover of its website last year. ACM was looking to reach a much more ubiquitous target audience for their new vision, and Wiz Werx appropriately redesigned to meet this objective.

Strategy
This user-centric design philosophy is apparent right from the first page that one lands on the ACM website – the homepage, where everything is organised according to personal, academic and functional interest.
Solution
Following the initial success of the launch, it soon became apparent that ACM has to maintain a constant web presence in order to meet the steadily increasing number of visitors to the website and their proportionally growing needs. To this end, Wiz Werx cooperated extensively with ACM to manage its website content, launch promotional exhibition materials, and even fun educational Flash games for the curious history buff.
Integrated with Wiz Werx flexible Content Management System, Wiz Werx has ensured the ease of maintenance as well as a seamless interface to the client. The site hosts an interactive ‘Learning’ section to cater to students and teachers, which enables them to download resources and maintain integrated engagement both online and offline at the museum.
