The Peranakan Musuem
Singapore, 21 November 2008 – After a successful launch of the revamped Asian Civilizations Museum website, Wiz Werx was engaged to design and develop the website of The Peranakan Museum.
Visitors will be able to access detailed information of the past, present and upcoming events and exhibitions. With a fully integrated booking system, visitors are able to book and pay for tickets to their preferred events via a local online payment gateway at their convenience.
An interactive E-Card Application was developed with the motifs and materials as design elements to allow web visitors to customize their unique Peranakan themed E-Card to be sent to their family and friends, spreading the Peranakan Culture through design.
Information driven, the website provides web visitors up-to-date information of news and happenings of the museum. Wiz Werx developed custom administrative tools for TPM’s staff to add, update and revise the contents with ease.
As the first Museum to explore the Peranakan cultures in the Southeast Asia region, the launch website strengthens their presence in the world with over 3000 monthly web visitors.
