Keppel Corporation: Celebrating 40 years and beyond…
Singapore, 21 November 2008 - As part of their 40th anniversary celebrations in 2008, a mini-site- Keppel Corporation: 40 Years and beyond was launched.
Wiz Werx was engaged to create a mini-site to showcase and celebrate the 40 years achievements, their main business thrusts and highlight the anniversary celebratory events.
Wiz Werx conceptualized and designed the interactive mini-site around Keppel’s 3 main strategic thrust, Sustaining Growth, Empowering Lives and Nurturing Communities. The clean look and simple navigational scheme allows users to focus and engage themselves with the content.
With the need to update the mini-site on a regular basis, Wiz Werx developed the site with a hybrid of Flash and XML. The use of Flash allowed engagement of users with the use of interactive elements. The use of XML removes the reliance of Flash experienced developers but instead enables the ease and simplicity of addition, updating and removal of content for the administrators involved.
To keep track of the web statistics- a process that is a norm for html pages but usually avoided for Flash Sites due to its complexity, Wiz Werx implemented full tracking services for the mini-site.
