Singapore, 24 April 2006- CPG Corporation, one of the largest developers in Asia engaged the media expertises of Wiz Werx to rebuild its foundation on the Internet and the design the company brochure. The new bilingual corporate website was to replace the dated website which was becoming more unmanageable with the shear volume of content.
Wiz Werx ensured that there was a consistent corporate identity for both brochure and website. The challenge was conceptualising a design theme that will suit both the online and printed media.
With self-sustainability in mind, Wiz Werx developed a comprehensive Content Management System (CMS) for CPG to self manage the content of the website. This was implemented because of the constant press release updates required.
Beyond the usual CMS functionalities, such as adding, editing and deleting content, Wiz Werx incorporated additional functions such as an automatic content publisher that publishes stored content based on the preset publish date and an online workflow to automate the content approval process.
Another unique feature of the CMS was the Newsletter Manager. CPG had the request of creating an online version of the monthly newsletter so the Newsletter Manager was created. Content of the newsletter is input using the Newsletter Manager and the html version is generated. This e-newsletter is then published on the website and emailed to the CPG’s mailing list.
The final phase of the project currently in progress is the Chinese language version of the website and corporate brochure aimed at the Chinese speaking audience mainly in The People’s Republic of China. This chinese language version website is also supported by the bilingualCMS.
